You are to start with 3 eggs as per the directions and then add more if necessary :) Depending on the size of the eggs, 3 may be enough or you may need to use a few more. But after 4 eggs and 3 cups of flours i stopped on the eggs. Usually it is 1c flour to 1 egg.
